CPS took my daughter from me because of the test result. I swear I’ve never touched cocaine before. The other sites I’ve been on say amoxicillin, liver disease, kidney disease, and diabetes can cause a false positive result. None of those apply to me. During my pregnancy I had 4 drug tests which came out negative. They won’t believe the no drug use theory. Somebody please help figure this out!! I would never endanger my child in this way. Isn’t there anything else that could create a false positive result?

will they deny you insurance or charge you more just because you got tested, thinking you may get it and it will cost them to insure you?

I live in the northern part of NY with my boyfriend. I’m orginially from IL . I’m wanting to get checked due to a yeast infection that I cannot get rid of. I’ve gone to planned parenthood twice and to two clinics. The first clinic checked me for kidney/bladder infection and said I didn’t have any, then talked about birth control, and gave me some meds which made the yeast worse and I looked up the stuff and it ended up being antibiotics for a bladder infection so I stopped taking it. The PP said I could have diabetes or HIV but said they highly doubted it was HIV and also said it could be from my diet. I cut the sugar intake down way over half. Diabetes runs in both sides of my family real bad. Neither of my parents have it. I don’t have insurance at the moment. I’m going to try to get an appt set up with a gyno but heard they are very hard to get into around here so I thought I would get tested for diabetes while I wait just to be sure.

My 8 year old daughter has recently been urinating frequently and complaining of blurry vision and tingling in her arms. She is very slim, I haven’t noticed weight loss but she is definitely not putting any on. I know these are some of the symptoms of diabetes. Is there anyway I could test her at home for it? I took her to the dr. for the frequent urination and they didn’t find anything wrong.
Thanks to everybody for all the great answers! I’m going to bring her in to the dr. to get her checked.
